ConvexityShares Trust, an exchange-traded fund provider, announced the appointment of Joseph Ferraro as interim chief compliance officer, according to a public filing.

In the role, Ferraro is responsible for the compliance and reporting of ConvexityShares and will perform additional executive, supervisory, and management functions as required.

Previously, Ferraro served as president of MIAX Futures, overseeing legal matters and oversight responsibilities. Before MIAX, he held the role of senior vice president and deputy general counsel of MIH. From August 2012 to August 2016, Ferraro was general counsel, secretary, and a member of the board of directors at computer technology company Longitude. He also served as deputy general counsel and assistant secretary of electronic options exchange ISE Holdings for 16 years.
