Crypto digital exchange Copper.co announced the appointment of Tim Neill as chief risk officer.

Neill joins the firm from Mastercard and will report to Chief Operating Officer Sabrina Wilson.

Neill brings more than 20 years of experience in operations and risk focused on payments, open banking, financial services, and technology. He previously served as chief risk officer at Mastercard for its new payments platforms division.

He also served as head of risk for product and engineering at Mastercard, covering new payments platforms, digital banking, and central bank digital currency.

Prior to Mastercard, he held senior risk and operations positions at London Stock Exchange, Standard Chartered Bank, and Deutsche Bank, among others.
