Crowe, a public accounting, consulting, and technology firm, announced the promotion of Texas market leader Sheila Enriquez to chief diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) officer.

She will continue in her capacity as Texas market leader and a member of the firm’s management committee in addition to serving as chief DEI officer.

Previously, Enriquez served as managing partner and chief executive at Briggs & Veselka, which merged with Crowe in 2021. She worked at Briggs & Veselka for 15 years, starting as a senior manager before ascending to principal, audit and consulting shareholder, and CEO, according to her LinkedIn profile.

In her time at Crowe, she’s specialized in external and internal audit services, forensic accounting, and valuation and litigation support, according to her company profile. She has more than 22 years of experience providing forensic investigations, asset tracing, and economic-damages and lost-profits calculations.

Crowe also announced the appointments of Rachael Gibson as deputy chief - firmwide leader of DEI and Farrell Calabrese to the newly created role of purpose and sustainability leader.
