Australia-based global biotechnology company CSL announced the promotion of Jeffrey Ball as its first chief sustainability officer.

Ball has served in roles of increasing responsibility at CSL, including his previous title as senior vice president of environment, health, and safety and sustainability and strategy realization.

Prior to joining CSL, Ball served as the executive officer of operations for Aspen Aerogels and in leadership roles with Genzyme, Amgen, and Bayer.
