Electronics and information technology asset disposition provider ERI named David Hirschler, who formerly served as senior director of sustainability and legislative compliance at the company, as its chief sustainability officer.
Prior to joining ERI in 2014, Hirschler served as the director of waste prevention for the New York City Department of Sanitation. He also serves on the board of directors of FABSCRAP, a nonprofit focused on commercial textile recycling and reuse.
