Richard Chambers, former president and CEO of the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA), has partnered with AuditBoard as a senior internal audit advisor.
A provider of audit, compliance, and risk software, AuditBoard stated Chambers “will partner with AuditBoard on thought leadership, customer advisory, and industry research programs dedicated to advancing the practice of internal audit through education and digital transformation.”
Chambers retired from the IIA in March after 12 years with the organization. His tenure is the second-longest in IIA history, behind Bradford Cadmus (1947-62).
Last year, Chambers caught up with Compliance Week to discuss the latest updates to the IIA’s “Three Lines Model” for managing risk, how the coronavirus pandemic has impacted the internal audit profession, and much more. The full interview may be accessed here.
