Forward Air Corp., a provider of transportation services, appointed its Chief Legal Officer and Secretary Michael Hance as interim chief executive officer.
Since joining Forward in 2006, Hance has served in leadership roles, including as general counsel since 2008 and chief legal officer since 2014, as well as leading the company’s human resources department from 2010-14.
He assumes the CEO role from Tom Schmitt, who departed the company.
