GE Vernova announced the appointment of Rachel Gonzalez as general counsel, effective April 1.

She most recently served as general counsel of Starbucks Coffee Corporation, where she handled legal and regulatory affairs, global security and data privacy, and ethics and compliance.

Prior to joining Starbucks in 2018, Gonzalez led a global team responsible for human resources, corporate communications, legal strategy, regulatory affairs, corporate compliance, and government affairs at Sabre Corporation.

She also previously served as executive vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary with Dean Foods. Earlier in her career, she was a partner with the law firm of Morgan, Lewis & Bockius.

Gonzalez, along with Chief Ethics and Compliance Officer Amber Kagan, will join the leadership team. Kagan has served in the role for four years.
