Insurance Australia Group (IAG) appointed Karen Ingram as interim group general counsel, effective Jan. 8.

Ingram will report to Managing Director and Chief Executive Nick Hawkins.

She joins IAG with more than 23 years of experience in litigation and dispute resolution. Over this time, she was with Clayton Utz, where she advised and represented clients across key business sectors.

She is chair of Sunnyfield disAbility Services and a senior adviser for the Association of Children’s Welfare Agencies.
