Cash handling company Loomis Group announced the appointment of Stellan Abrahamsson as chief risk officer, effective March 1, 2022.
From October until the start date, Abrahamsson will work alongside current Chief Risk Officer Martti Ojanen to ensure a smooth transition. Ojanen will move to become head of group insurance within the group risk organization.
Abrahamsson is currently an independent risk management advisor to Nordic and international companies and has held various positions in the banking and insurance industries. He was also senior group supervisor at the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority.
In joining Loomis, Abrahamsson will be part of the group management team and report to President and CEO Patrik Andersson.
