Luxury retailer Neiman Marcus Group announced the appointment of Hannah Kim as chief legal officer, corporate secretary, and chief compliance officer.

Kim will start July 26 and serve as a member of the executive team. In her new role, she will oversee legal and compliance to promote and protect the overall business strategy.

Kim was most recently chief legal officer at Energizer Holdings, where she was responsible for legal, compliance, ethics, regulatory, and government affairs. She also brings experience leading environmental, social, and governance (ESG) strategy. Neiman Marcus will announce its three-year ESG plan later this year.

Prior to her three years at Energizer, Kim served in senior roles at Bank of America and Lowe’s Companies. She started her law career at Parker Poe Adams & Bernstein and Alston & Bird. She is also a member of the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity.
