Nike will fill its vacant chief diversity, equity, and inclusion officer role by hiring Twitter’s former DEI head James Loduca, according to a post on his LinkedIn profile.

Currently, Loduca serves as an advisory board member at information technology services provider HITEC. He previously held the roles of vice president of inclusion, diversity, equity, and accessibility and senior director of global inclusion and diversity at Twitter.

“Nike believes that if you have a body, you are an athlete—and I’m thrilled to be joining the team and help lead efforts to create a level playing field where everyone can win,” Loduca wrote.

Before his time at Twitter, Loduca was chair of the San Francisco Human Rights Commission, director of equality at Salesforce, and senior vice president of the San Francisco AIDS Foundation.
