OnPoint Community Credit Union announced the appointment of Wendy Beth Oliver as senior vice president and chief legal officer.

Oliver will join the executive team; lead legal and business goals; and advise the company on corporate governance, contracts, compliance, and regulatory issues.

Oliver previously served as the credit union’s vice president and general counsel, managing its legal compliance and corporate governance.

With more than 30 years of experience as a legal adviser in the financial services industry, Oliver previously provided counsel for financial services companies, including banks, mortgage, and small business firms, and a financial technology (fintech) startup.

Before joining OnPoint, she held general counsel and chief compliance officer positions at Grit Financial and fintech startup Aven.
