Swiss pharmaceutical firm Roche announced Gottlieb Keller will retire as general counsel at the end of March 2020.

Claudia Böckstiegel, currently head of legal of the Diagnostics Division, has been appointed by the Board of Directors to the position of general counsel and will become a member of the Enlarged Corporate Executive Committee as of April 1, 2020.

Keller’s career at Roche spanned 35 years. He also served as secretary to the Board of Directors and will be replaced in that capacity by Annette Luther, currently general manager of Roche Diagnostics International AG.
