Real estate services company Stewart Information Services Corp. announced the appointments of Mary Thomas as chief compliance and regulatory officer and Elizabeth Giddens as chief legal officer and corporate secretary.

The changes coincide with the planned retirement of John Killea as chief legal officer and chief compliance officer. Killea joined Stewart in 2000 and had held his dual role since 2011.

Thomas has spent her entire 16-year career at Stewart. She most recently served as vice president, chief regulatory counsel and deputy chief compliance officer at Stewart Title Guaranty Company, according to her LinkedIn profile.

Giddens’s succession of Killea was announced in October, when she was hired as deputy chief legal officer. She joined Stewart with 25 years of legal experience, most recently serving as senior vice president and general counsel at Integer Holdings Corp.

Stewart also announced Pamela O’Brien has been named general counsel of Stewart Title Guaranty Company.
