Financial services company Wedbush Securities announced the appointment of Matt Lisle to chief compliance officer of its futures division.

Lisle will report to General Counsel Andrew Druch and work closely with the management team of the fixed income, currencies, commodities, and securities finance division.

Lisle brings more than 25 years of legal and regulatory compliance experience in futures to the role. He previously served as chief compliance officer for ABN AMRO Clearing Chicago, general counsel for the National Grain and Feed Association, and held senior compliance roles at the New York Stock Exchange and Eurex.

He started his futures regulatory career as a staff attorney with the Commodity Futures Trading Commission. Since 2018, he has been actively involved in the digital assets industry as co-founder and general counsel of Drawbridge Lending, which was acquired by Galaxy in 2020.

At Galaxy, he served as CCO of the commodity pool and trading advisory business. He also co-founded and was the first chairman of the Global Digital Asset & Cryptocurrency Association, a digital assets industry self-regulatory organization.
