Germany-based financial institution HSH Nordbank this week announced that its chief risk officer, Edwin Wartenweiler, will not be extending his current contract, which runs until May 31.

After three years of service on HSH Nordbank’s management board, Wartenweiler is leaving his position at his own request in order to take up new career opportunities, the company stated.

In the interim, Chief Financial Officer Stefan Ermisch will take charge of the risk department. The company said it will be appointing a successor for the position of CRO in the near future.
