IMAX, a provider of entertainment technology,  has appointed Dana Settle to its board of directors. She fills a vacancy on the company's board.

Settle is a partner and co-founder at Greycroft, a venture capital fund focused on investments in the Internet and mobile markets. Prior to Greycroft, Settle spent several years as a venture capitalist and adviser to startup companies. During her six years at venture capital fund Mayfield, she focused on early-stage companies in the mobile communications and consumer Internet markets.
