JLL, a professional services and investment management firm, recently named Kathryn Ditmars general counsel for the Americas region, overseeing the U.S. markets businesses.

Previously, she was general counsel for JLL's Canada and Latin America regions and shares oversight with the global legal team for the corporate solutions business. She will continue to report to Mark Ohringer, JLL's global general counsel.

Ditmars is also ethics officer for the Americas, providing ethics training and working with the global ethics officer community to further develop JLL's ethics and compliance program. She will also keep her global litigation director role, in which she focuses on enterprise risk management and oversees JLL's global litigation portfolio.
