Kite Realty Group Trust, a real estate investment trust company, has promoted David Buell to the role of senior vice president, chief accounting officer, effective as of Jan. 1, 2018. He replaces Thomas Olinger, who retired from the company.

Buell previously served as the company’s corporate controller, a position he had held since 2014. In his new role, Buell will be responsible for managing the company’s accounting, financial reporting and tax functions. He will report directly to Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer Dan Sink.

Before joining the company, Buell was a senior manager at KPMG.
