Vuzix, a supplier of video eyewear and smart glasses products in the consumer, enterprise and entertainment markets, announced that Edward Kay has joined its board of directors. Kay will serve as chairman of the audit committee, taking over the responsibilities of former board member William Lee, who passed away in March.

Kay spent 33 years with PwC, working with companies in a wide variety of industries, including manufacturing, distribution, software and technology. During Kay's tenure at PwC, and through his service on other corporate boards, he accumulated extensive experience in financial, securities, and business matters, including significant leadership roles in dealing with accounting and auditing matters related to public companies.
