PwC has appointed three new partners to its risk assurance practice.

Jeff Hunter has been appointed as a direct admit partner to the firm’s Risk and Compliance Systems and Analytics (RCSA) practice in the Washington D.C. Metro market. Jeff will focus on leveraging the capability that PwC has built within risk and compliance for Financial Services firms and apply them to other highly-regulated industries, including Healthcare, Energy, Utilities, Industrial Products, and Retail and Consumer.

In addition, he will help lead the firm’s efforts in growing the RCSA practice in the Washington Metro market, and also continue to grow PwC’s Anti-Money Laundering practice, applying his extensive experience in leading large scale AML compliance projects, enterprise-wide reporting capabilities, trade surveillance, anti-money laundering, and forensic testing.

Harshad Pitkar has been appointed as a direct admit Partner to the firm’s Risk Assurance practice in the Philadelphia market. Pitkar will be responsible for driving the continued growth of PwC’s Financial Services Data Analytics solution. He will also focus on developing and executing strategic initiatives to expand the firm’s services into the broader areas of risk and regulation, in both the United States and globally.

Jerry Hufton has been appointed as a direct admit partner to the firm’s Risk Assurance practice and will serve as the Midwest and Greater Chicago Risk Assurance Insurance Sector Leader. With over 22 years of experience in deep enterprise risk, audit, finance, compliance, Hufton will focus on developing and implementing the firm’s insurance go-to market strategy, and continuing to build and lead the sector team to meet growing market demands.
