Regent Surgical Health, a surgery center management and development company specializing in hospital and physician ambulatory surgery center (ASC) joint ventures, has named Christopher Stine as its new corporate compliance officer.

Stine joined Regent in 2015 as one of Regent’s purchasing managers, responsible for purchasing and supply chain operations for Regent’s centers in the Midwest and East Coast. As corporate compliance officer, Stine will ensure Regent facilities have a compliance program in place to meet federal and state guidelines, and he will maintain and monitor that program. He will also educate facility administrators, the Regent corporate team, and physician partners on relevant compliance issues and procedures to meet compliance standards.

Prior to his role at Regent, Stine served as a company executive officer in the U.S. Marine Corps, and managed complex operations both in the United States and overseas. He developed new standard operating procedures that managed the inflow, outflow, and maintenance of over $10 million worth of serialized inventory. Stine also served as an advisor to the Republic of Georgia National Army, and mentored over 500 officers and enlisted soldiers from the Republic of Georgia Army as they prepared for combat deployment to Afghanistan.
