In this webcast, attendees will discover insights about compliance trends and receive practical tips to convert these insights into action.

Nearly 500 compliance practitioners gathered for three days in May at the 2026 Compliance Week National Conference. Based on the discussions and insights offered from panelists, compliance professionals, regulators and academics, five themes emerged that should guide every compliance program through the end of the year.

AI is the through-line. Practitioners overwhelmingly said they are using AI tools, but governance lags. Real risk lies in that gap.

Enforcement is redistributing, not retreating. While the U.S. government is pulling back in some areas, like bribery enforcement, it is surging ahead in others, like healthcare fraud and foreign terrorism funding. State enforcement activity is rising, and there is a global divergence away from the U.S. in regulatory priorities.

Third-party risk has graduated from a sub-discipline into a foundational element of an effective compliance program.

Culture lives in behaviors. Speak-up is not enough. Listen-up is the work.

Compliance has to reframe — again. It has to evolve from a cost center to a value driver. Boards are listening.
