Societe Generale Group has appointed Diony Lebot as group chief risk officer. She also will serve on the group executive committee as of July 1.

Lebot, who previously served as deputy group chief risk officer, will replace Benoît Ottenwaelter who has decided to retire after 28 years at the company. Societe Generale has appointed Jean-François Grégoire to serve as its newest deputy group chief risk officer.

Grégoire joined Societe Generale Corporate & Investment Banking in 1996 in Paris as an equity derivatives trader. Between 2001 and 2009, he was head of equity derivatives trading for Asia-Pacific and then for the United States. In 2009, he was appointed head of U.S. trading. Since 2012, he has been global head of trading based in Paris. He was appointed deputy chief risk officer in November 2015.
