Pay among women general counsel outpaced men in 2022 for only the second time since 2018, according to the latest compensation benchmarking report from corporate leadership data provider Equilar.
The survey, “General Counsel Pay Trends,” analyzed compensation reported to the Securities and Exchange Commission for 179 of the 500 largest companies by revenue that trade on one of the three major U.S. stock exchanges for the fiscal year ending March 1, 2022, to Feb. 28, 2023.
