UCP, a homebuilder and land development company, has appointed Timothy Baker as chief accounting officer. He will report to UCP's Chief Financial Officer William La Herran.

Baker joined UCP in 2014 as its corporate controller. In his new role, he will oversee accounting, SEC reporting, and other accounting-related functions of the organization.

Baker has more than 20 years of accounting and finance experience during his career. Prior to joining UCP, he served as controller for NTS Development Company from 2000 to 2014.
