Vail Resorts has announced the planned retirement of Mark Schoppet, controller and chief accounting officer, effective upon the hiring of his replacement and the completion of a transition period.
Schoppet has been with Vail Resorts since 2004, has been its controller since 2005 and chief accounting officer since 2009. Prior to joining Vail, Schoppet had a 22-year career in public accounting, including 10 years as a partner at Arthur Andersen.
