Social gaming giant Zynga has appointed Michelle Quejado as chief accounting officer. She assumes the role from Chief Financial Officer David Lee.

Quejado, who joined the company in May, previously was vice president of finance and corporate controller, having agreed to take on the role in June 2014.

She joins Zynga from semiconductor company Lam Research. While there, Quejado was a director of the company and assistant corporate controller in 2007, and then moved through a number of positions, including business unit controller, senior director of finance integration, and managing director and assistant corporate controller.
