Institutional Shareholder Services, a leading proxy advisor, has released the slate of annual policy updates that will guide its recommendations at 2014 annual meetings. Among the topics covered are disclosing human rights issues in the supply chain, reporting on lobbying activities, and when a CEO or director is too over-extended to be a effective shareholder advocate.
The updated policies are announced each November and apply to meetings held on and after Feb. 1 of the following year.
