The Goldman Sachs Group, a global investment banking, securities and investment management firm, announced the retirement of John Bryan as lead director and chair of the corporate governance and nominating committee. Bryan has been a director and a member of each of the standing committees of the board since November 1999.
Assuming Bryan’s position is James Schiro, who has served as a director since May 2009 and as audit committee chair since September 2010. Previously, he served as chief executive officer at Zurich Financial services and as CEO at PwC.
