President Obama signed a bill to repeal the new Internal Revenue Form 1099 reporting requirements, which were bundled into his health care reform on April 14.

“Today, I was pleased to take another step to relieve unnecessary burdens on small businesses by signing H.R. 4 into law,” Obama said in a statement. The bill allows small businesses to “spend their time and resources creating jobs and growing their business, not filling out more paperwork,” he said.
