Allied Irish Banks has appointed Deirdre Hannigan as chief risk officer, effective April 24.

 

Hannigan joins AIB from the National Treasury Management Agency, where she was chief risk officer.

 

Hannigan started her career in retail banking with AIB before moving to its corporate banking team. She has also worked with GE, Rabobank, Bank of Ireland.
