The Department of Justice (DOJ) has ended an FCPA-related non-prosecution agreement (NPA) more than a year early. This scaling back of regulatory enforcement by the federal government has been a growing trend since the start of the Trump administration. 

Albemarle Corp., a North Carolina-based specialty chemicals manufacturing company, disclosed to the Securities and Exchange Commission Thursday in a 10-Q filing that the Department of Justice ended its NPA in April.
