AvePoint, a provider of enterprise-class governance, compliance, and management solutions, recently announced the general availability of the latest release of the AvePoint Privacy Impact Assessment (APIA) solution, exclusively distributed by the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP).

APIA mitigates the risk inherent with manual privacy impact assessments, helping organizations understand and automate the process of evaluating, assessing, and reporting on the privacy implications of their enterprise IT systems.

The latest APIA templates include export data from privacy impact assessments (PIAs). APIA users can now export data and results from PIAs as a CSV file to use with other systems, increasing the interoperability of the solution.

The new solution also includes new PIA templates. Two new questionnaire templates are now available to help users simplify PIAs and carry out surveys according to recommended best practices. The new templates includes a sample questionnaire to be used when conducting a third-party vendor assessment and determining an organization’s readiness for moving to the cloud.
