Brunswick has appointed Christopher Dekker as interim general counsel and secretary. He reports to Chief Executive Officer Dustan McCoy.

Dekker, who joined Brunswick in 2010 as associate general counsel of litigation and employment, will assume the duties of Kristin Coleman, who recently was named general counsel and corporate secretary at Sears Holding.

Dekker previously was with Caterpillar, where he held a variety of positions in the law department, most recently as senior corporate counsel for Caterpillar Logistics. Prior to joining Caterpillar in 2001, he served with two leading Chicago law firms.
