France will experience a sea change in voting rights next month with the passage of the Florange Act. Adopted in 2014, the Act provides for the automatic granting of double-voting rights to stock held by shareholders for at least two years in a row. Workwave names chief compliance officer
WorkWave, a provider of cloud-based software solutions for field service management and “last mile” fleet management, has appointed Perry Pappas as general counsel and chief compliance officer. As a member of WorkWave’s senior management team, Pappas will be responsible for all legal and compliance aspects of WorkWave’s rapidly expanding domestic and international operations.
Vail Resorts names chief accounting officer
Vail Resorts has appointed Ryan Siurek as controller and chief accounting officer, effective April 18. He will assume these responsibilities from Mark Schoppet, who will retire following the completion of a transition period.
ITG names global chief compliance officer
ITG, an independent broker and financial technology provider, has appointed Thomas Shpetner as global chief compliance officer, effective April 12. He will report to Angélique DeSanto, ITG managing director and general counsel.
DreamWorks Animation names chief accounting officer
DreamWorks Animation has appointed Steven Adams as chief accounting officer, effective as of March 8. Chief Financial Officer Fazal Merchant had been serving as acting chief accounting officer since March 4, following the resignation of Edward Aleman.
