Exiger, the global regulatory and financial crime, risk and compliance firm, has appointed Jake Scrivens as managing director to lead the firm’s Hong Kong office.

Scrivens is an expert in post-financial crisis bank restructuring, with a deep specialization in structured finance and emerging markets. He joins Exiger from Barclays, where he most recently was head of markets structuring, APAC, at the firm’s investment bank.

In that role, he was responsible for structuring activities across all asset classes for the markets business. While at Barclays, Scrivens also served as head of strategic credit portfolio management group at Barclays Capital, and as general counsel in the legal and compliance division in both EMEA and APAC.
