First Bank of Nigeria has appointed Olusegun Alebiosu as its new chief risk officer (CRO). His appointment is still subject to approval by the Central Bank of Nigeria.

Prior to this appointment, Olusegun served in the same role at Coronation Merchant Bank. Before joining Coronation Merchant bank in 2015, Olusegun at various times, worked with African Development Bank group and United Bank for Africa as a chief credit risk officer and deputy chief credit officer, respectively.

Olusegun has over 24 years of extensive experience across various sectors of banking and has garnered diverse hands-on experience covering financial planning and control, corporate, commercial and investment banking, relationship management, and risk management.
