We were recently tipped off to the existence of the “March Madness Compliance Risk Assessment Bracket,” penned by Ryan McConnell, a former federal prosecutor who has since joined the law firm Morgan Lewis. McConnell has long been a devotee of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, and now has come up with one of the more creative approaches to winning over rank-and-file employee support for effective compliance programs.
