$2.9 billion Centene Corp., has appointed Jeffrey Schwaneke as chief accounting officer.

Schwaneke joined Centene on July 7 as vice president and corporate controller. He previously was vice president, controller, and chief accounting officer at Atlanta-based aluminum products company, Novelis.
