Huron Consulting Group, a provider of business consulting services, has elected John McCartney to the position of non-executive chairman of the board effective May 3. He assumes the role from George Massaro, who served as chief operating officer of Huron from 2003 to 2005 and as vice chairman from 2005 to 2009. Massaro will resume his prior position on the board as vice chairman.
