$73.5 billion Marathon Oil Corp. has announced the retirement of William Schwind as vice president, general counsel, and secretary, effective Nov. 1. Schwind will continue in his current role until Sept. 1, when he will assume the position of senior vice president of law and secretary.

At that time, Sylvia Kerrigan will become vice president and general counsel. Following Schwind’s retirement, Kerrigan will assume the additional responsibility of corporate secretary.
