Granite, a full-suite provider in the transportation, water infrastructure, and mineral exploration markets, has named M. Craig Hall as senior vice president, general counsel, corporate compliance officer, and secretary, effective as of Aug. 6. He succeeds Richard Watts, who was recently appointed senior vice president and group manager for Granite’s Water and Mineral Services Group.

In this role, Hall is responsible for the general management of Granite's legal team and will participate in securities, corporate, board governance, and compliance matters. He reports directly to Granite Chief Executive Office James Roberts.

Hall has over 26 years of legal experience and joins Granite from Oldcastle, where he most recently served as deputy general counsel for their Western Operations. “Craig’s background in the construction industry coupled with his extensive legal, compliance, and ethics expertise make him a valuable addition to our Granite team,” said Roberts.
