CentralReach, a provider of electronic health record and practice management solutions, has appointed Perry Pappas as senior vice president, chief legal and compliance officer.

Pappas, who brings more than 25 years experience to CentralReach, will spearhead and oversee all corporate compliance and legal efforts to support the company’s rapidly growing operations. These efforts include mergers and acquisitions, regulatory compliance, securities, commercial contracts, licensing, technology transactions, corporate governance, and more.

Prior to joining CentralReach, Perry was SVP, general counsel, and chief compliance officer of WorkWave. Before WorkWave, he was a partner in the law firms of Morrison Cohen and Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe.

CentralReach said Pappas’ appointment “comes at a time when strategic acquisitions and compliance play an important role in the evolution of the company.” Most recently, CentralReach on June 24 announced the acquisition of its former competitor, Pathfinder Health Innovations, making it CentralReach’s third acquistion in the past 12 months. In December 2018, the company acquired Bronco Billing (now named CR BillMax Services), a managed billing services company, and in May 2018 it acquired Chartlytics, a real-time behavior change analytics software provider.
