Financial services firm Fidelity National Information Services announced in a Form 8-K the appointment of Christopher Thompson as chief accounting officer.

Thompson served as chief accounting officer at Worldpay since 2014 and was senior vice president and controller at Worldpay from 2010 to 2014. Prior, he was a partner at Deloitte and Touche.

Katy Thompson, Fidelity’s former chief accounting officer and of no relation to Christopher Thompson, will be assuming a new role with the company as the finance operations officer. In this role, she will lead the company’s shared financial services function for day-to-day enterprise operations.
