Office Depot, an omnichannel provider of business services and supplies, products, and technology solutions, announced in a securities filing that Scott Kriss, senior vice president and chief accounting officer, informed the company of his decision to resign “for personal reasons,” effective June 14.

To ensure a smooth transition, Kriss will continue to work closely with Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer Joseph Lower until his departure date, the company disclosed in a Form 8-K. No further details were provided.

Office Depot appointed Kriss chief accounting officer last year. Previously he was with The Wendy’s Company, where he was responsible for all aspects of The Wendy’s Company’s accounting and tax functions.
