Sempra Energy announced the resignation of President and Chief Legal Officer George Bilicic in a recent regulatory filing.

Bilicic, who also served as chief compliance officer, and Sempra agreed to treat the resignation as for “good reason” as defined in his severance pay agreement with the company dated June 2019, the filing states.

Bilicic will receive a cash payment in the amount of $3,248,000, among other benefits.
