Multinational oil and gas company Weatherford International announced the departure of Christina Ibrahim as executive vice president, general counsel, chief compliance officer and corporate secretary, effective June 7.

The move was revealed within a regulatory filing also disclosing the departure of Mark McCollum as president and chief executive officer at Weatherford. McCollum also ceased to be a member of the company’s board of directors, and his candidacy for re-election has been withdrawn. He and Ibrahim will each be entitled to certain termination without “cause” benefits and compensation, according to the company.

“Mr. McCollum’s and Ms. Ibrahim’s departures were not the result of any dispute or disagreement with the Company on any matter relating to the Company’s accounting practices or financial statements,” Weatherford disclosed.

Ibrahim had been with Weatherford for just over five years, according to her LinkedIn profile. In accordance with her departure, Christi Morrison has been appointed interim general counsel and corporate secretary.
