The International Compliance Association (ICA), a leading professional body for the compliance community, announced a partnership with international legal and compliance recruitment firm Series B to advance compliance education across the world.

As part of the partnership, Series B will offer the ICA’s full suite of professional qualifications, including courses in regulatory compliance, anti-money laundering, financial crime risk, new technology, and more.

Over the last two years, demand for well-trained, certified compliance and financial crime prevention professionals has continued to increase as businesses face new and evolving risks. These range from the exploitation of technology by criminals to commit fraud and engage in illegal activity to the challenge of keeping up with constantly changing regulations while managing limited resources and ensuring businesses serve their customers in the right way.

COVID-19 has also accelerated many existing trends, including digitalization, the adoption of AI and automation, and growth in crypto assets. These trends continue to drive demand for new skills among compliance professionals to ensure firms remain competitive and relevant while mitigating risk.

Undertaken by over 160,000 professionals globally, the ICA’s wide range of qualifications combine practical guidance with global best practice, relevant case studies, and the skills modern practitioners need to better manage their firm’s exposure to noncompliance and financial crime risk. Partnering with Series B will allow the ICA to reach new markets and help professionals in the fintech space advance their skills and knowledge.

“We’re pleased to join forces with our new partner, Series B, who has extensive expertise in legal and compliance recruitment in the FinTech sector,” said ICA President Bill Howarth in a press release. “We look forward to working closely together to bring ICA’s qualifications to new parts of the globe and help industry professionals gain the confidence and skills they need to perform at their best.”

The International Compliance Association is a sister company to Compliance Week. Both organizations are under the umbrella of Wilmington plc.
